LOC’s Manchester clinic is located in the Brian Blatchford Building on the University of Salford’s campus. Our clinic room is on the ground floor close to reception.
The clinic is run by Professor Saeed Forghany BSc, MSc, PhD.

The clinic provides advice and treatment for a wide range of adult and paediatric lower limb conditions such as:
LOC Manchester also provides non-surgical treatment for:
- positional plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome)
- craniosynostosis (post-operative cranial remoulding)
- pectus carinatum
- pectus excavatum
- rib flaring
In addition to bespoke insoles and footwear.
Facilities
We also have access to a well-equipped and substantial on-site workshop to fine-tune our orthotics for optimum comfort during fitting and review appointments.

Please note, there is a 10-minute walk from Irwell Place car park to our clinic, so if possible and safe to do so, you may want to get dropped off before parking.
Disabled Parking
For patients with a Blue Badge, there are five disabled parking spaces available in front of the Brian Blatchford building.
Additionally, three more disabled spaces are available in front of the Busy Bees Nursery (University Of Salford, Statham Street, Salford, M6 6PU).
