With 13 years of experience in the NHS, Jason Wilkerson is now the workshop manager at LOC Manufacturing. He plays an essential role in overseeing the operations of Victor, our cutting-edge robotic machine. Alongside his colleague Joe, Jason ensures the machine delivers the highest-quality 3D-printed products, designed specifically for the non-surgical treatment of conditions like pectus deformities and scoliosis. Jason’s leadership ensures our manufacturing process runs smoothly, enabling us to deliver tailored solutions to our clients with the utmost precision.

As a senior orthotic technician with over 15 years of experience at LOC Manufacturing, Philip Gipps is a true master of his craft. Specialising in the lining of 3D-printed helmets for cranial headbands and finishing touches for Ankle Foot Orthoses (AFOs) and Knee Ankle Foot Orthoses (KFOs), Philip’s precision and attention to detail are unmatched. With over 40 years in the orthotics industry, his vast experience ensures that every project he handles meets the highest standards of quality, providing our clients with exceptional results.

James Joslyn Technician
James’ journey with LOC Manufacturing began in 2017 as an apprentice, and since then, he has become a trusted technician specialising in bespoke scoliosis braces and custom insoles. His role is pivotal in operating Victor, our state-of-the-art robotic machine, ensuring that our team can provide same-day products to clients. James also works on creating Ankle Foot Orthoses (AFOs) and heel raises, collaborating with fellow technicians to improve the precision and quality of our services, always putting the needs of the client first.

Joseph, Senior Orthotic Technician at LOC, brings a wealth of experience from his diverse background, including four years of service in the Navy as a Weapon Engineer. With 12 years at LOC, Joseph specialises in the manufacturing of scoliosis braces, working closely with Jason to manage Victor, the advanced robotic system that is transforming our manufacturing processes. Since joining the LOC Manufacturing team in 2022, Jess Mitchell has been an asset to our orthotic department. As a qualified orthotic technician, Jess brings a unique blend of creativity and technical prowess, with a background in BA Technician Arts and Special Effects from the University of the Arts London. Her experience working with prosthetics at the NHS has deepened her expertise.
